We offer a payment plan which is as follows: + $300 due upon enrollment for all class schedules (will hold your spot). + Payment plan for day class is: $275 due 1st day of class and then 2 additional weekly payments of $275. + Payment plan for evening and weekend class is: $121 due the 1st day of class and then 5 additional weekly payments of $137.50/week for 5 weeks.

What is meant by "successfully completing" a program?

Although every program has requirements for passing the classroom and clinical portions, once you complete the course you will then need to pass the Written/Oral and Skills Competency Examination within the next year. Passing the exam certifies you as a nurse aide in the state so you then will be listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.

What are the requirements for testing once a state-approved nurse aide training program is successfully completed?

After successful completion of the nurse aide course, you must apply to take the Written/Oral and Skills Competency Examination within one (1) year by submitting a testing application to the testing vendor. Information regarding the state competency examination can be located at www.credentia.com. Click on Create Your Account at the bottom of the page. If you have trouble setting up an account please call Credentia at (888)240-0448. If you don’t take the Written/Oral and Skills Competency Examination within one (1) year of successfully completing the State Approved Nurse Aide Training Program Course, then you must re-take the nurse aide training course. Once the Written/Oral and Skills Competency Examination is successfully passed, your name will be placed on the Certified Nurse Aide Registry within 30 days. The written portion of your certification can be taken online or at a testing center, however, your skills portion must be taken at a testing facility. Testing is performed at a RTS (Reginal Testing Site) with testing locations in Fayetteville, Dallas, Villa Rica, McDonough, and many other cities.

How long will my name remain on the Nurse Aide Registry?

Your name will remain on the Nurse Aide Registry for two years. After that, you will need to fill out a renewal form and provide information and documentation that you have worked as a CNA, for pay, for a minimum of eight hours within the past two years under the supervision of a nurse. You are required to go through this certification renewal process every two years.

What if I have not worked a minimum of 8 hours in the past 24 months?

Contact the Nurse Aide Program via the telephone Interactive Voice Response System to obtain a testing application and a list of state-approved Regional Test Sites (RTS) located throughout the state. The cost for testing is printed on the testing application. Once you successfully pass the written/oral and skills examinations, your name will again be placed on the Nurse Aide Registry. You must renew your certification every two years thereafter.
