Become an EKG Technician in just 5 weeks!
Our 5-week EKG Technician course provides students with essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to preform electrocardiograms in clinical settings. The program covers cardiac anatomy and physiology, lead placement, rhythm recognition, patient preparation, safety, and basic trouble shooting. This course is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level healthcare training or current healthcare workers looking to expand their skills. Upon completion, students will be prepared for employment as an EKG technician and for applicable certification opportunities.
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-4:00pm
Program Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid photo ID
- Valid Social Security Card
- High school diploma or GED
- Negative TB test results within 1 year
Program Details:
The program duration is 5 weeks with a total of (80 hours) and includes everything you need!
Your Tuition Includes:
- Nationally approved Instructor(s)
- Classroom/Clinical instruction in a simulated lab
- Equipment and supplies for classroom use and skills practice
- Practice for the National Exam
- Student Insurance
- National Criminal Background Check
Not Included in Tuition:
- Leather/pleather shoes with closed toe and closed heel. (Must be clean)
- Scrubs (color- Purple for females, Black for males)
- The NHA exam ($134)
Payment Information:
- $100 non-refundable application fee at registration
- Option 1: $1425 if paying in full
- Option 2: $285/wk for 5 weeks
- Option 3: $475 biweekly (Paid on Monday of week one, three, and five)
- ALL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL INCUR a 3.5% Convenience fee
Testing Information:
After completing 80 hours of EKG training, you will be able to sit for the national exam.
